What is LuTouch?

LuTouch is a touch button that you can use to replace a traditional wall switch. But that’s not all. It also includes a built-in presence sensor and temperature sensor. The inspiration for creating this device came from modular Lego blocks, where individual elements can be exchanged – similarly, LuTouch offers modularity.

4 touch zones

LuTouch is equipped with four touch zones, each individually programmable. With LuON’s device, you can design up to 12 different actions, and you can also smoothly dim and brighten the lighting.

Built in temperature sensor

Monitor the temperature inside your home, and if your device is placed too close to a radiator or air conditioner, you can easily make precise adjustments to the measured temperature.

Sound based presence sensor

Track presence using an incredibly accurate sound sensor. The device also operates on battery power. Unlike sensors that require a constant power source, LuTouch can function for up to 12 months without access to an external energy source.

High-quality craftsmanship

At LuON, we pay attention to the aesthetics of our devices. The design of LuTouch was developed in collaboration with interior designers. The result includes a beautiful frame made of anodized aluminum or plastic. If you wish, you can replace it with a new one – you don’t have to worry about monotony and boredom in your home’s interior.

Works with Apple Home

luonOS is a closed system, but it is fully integrated with Apple Home, and in the nearest future, it will be integrated with Matter as well. This allows the LuBase central unit to offer incredible configurational flexibility and the ability to tailor it to your own needs and expectations.

LuTouch offers two forms of communication: wired LuLiNE and wireless LuAiR. Both work together, and it’s up to you to choose which one to use.

Future

At LuON, we are working on enabling LuTouch to function as a classic room thermostat very soon. This means even more features in one device.

What is a service?

Service is a task performed by a device. Example: LuTouch is a device, and controlling the lighting is one of the services it offers.

LuAiR & LuLiNE communication

LuAir is a wireless communication method used in luonOS, based on ESP-NOW technology. LuLine is a fast wired communication technology based on the CAN bus, commonly used in aviation, automotive, and even space industry.

Signal relay

All LuON devices connected to a constant power source transmit the LuAiR signal to other devices within their range.

Flexible configuration

LuTouch can be easily configured and customized to your needs. This is possible due to the flexibility of the device's software and the luonOS system.

Any room

In LuTouch, you can assign each service – button control, temperature measurement, or presence detection – to a selected room. Most competitive devices do not offer such flexibility.

Direct communication

LuTouch allows for direct communication with other devices designed by LuON, completely bypassing the LuBase central unit. This means that devices can communicate with each other even in the event of a router or accessory center failure.

Logs backup

Each configured service in LuTouch stores its logs directly in the LuBase central unit, even for up to 5 years.

Device update

Devices update automatically when they are rarely used. However, there is also an option for manual updates – individually for each device or all at once.

Additional features

Min and max sound treshold

In the presence sensor, you can independently set the minimum and maximum noise levels at which presence detection occurs.

Presence memory

The presence sensor allows you to adjust the time for retaining presence detection. This enables it to more precisely support the operation of other devices, such as keeping the lights on for a specified duration.

Programmable buttons

LuTouch can be used as a programmable button that supports single and double clicks, as well as long presses – a total of up to 12 different functions.

Personalized buttons

Programmable buttons work in a way that makes them convenient for you – you can disable double-click, and the duration of a long press is a parameter you can set independently.
