Privacy Policy

Data Collection

LuHome does not collect any personal data of its users. The app works with Apple’s HomeKit Framework and gains access to the user’s HomeKit configuration. The user independently grants the app access to their HomeKit database, allowing interaction with data such as homes, zones, rooms, devices, services, service groups, characteristics, and time and event-based triggers. The app records every change made by the user in the HomeKit database.

Data Usage

The LuHome app uses data from the HomeKit database to present the user with the current state of their home automation system and to enable modifications of this state through the app’s functionality. All changes are saved back to the HomeKit database. Anonymous crash and usage data may be sent to Apple or other company servers to improve stability and overall user experience.

Data Disclosure

HomeKit data is only available in the LuHome app and is not stored or transmitted outside of it. By using HomeKit, you have agreed to store information in Apple’s iCloud. If you share HomeKit functionality with other users, some of the data will be visible to these people.

Security

The LuHome app does not collect personal data, and LuON Corporation does not collect any data, so there is no need to apply additional security measures to protect user privacy.

User Rights
